Terms of Service

These terms are a binding agreement between you and mysoku. They cover mysoku.io, the mysoku app at app.mysoku.io, and the mysoku API, MCP server, and CLI (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

mysoku lets you write a post once and publish or schedule it to the social media accounts you connect, run automations that repost content between accounts, and view how published posts perform. mysoku acts on your instructions: it publishes only what you, or an automation you configured, tell it to publish.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old, and at least 18 to agree to these terms on behalf of a business. If you use mysoku for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your email address current, since one-time sign-in codes are sent there.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account and workspace. Do not share sign-in codes, API keys, or access tokens, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • Workspace owners and admins control who can join a workspace and connect or disconnect accounts. Members act on behalf of the workspace.

3. Connected accounts and third-party platforms

To publish, you connect social media accounts through each platform's authorization flow. By connecting an account you confirm you own it or are authorized to publish from it, and you grant mysoku permission to act on it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke that permission at any time by disconnecting the account in mysoku or from the platform's own settings.

Each platform's terms also apply to your use of it through mysoku, including the Meta, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok developer and user terms. In particular, mysoku uses YouTube API Services, so by connecting a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy, and can revoke mysoku's access from your Google Account security settings.

Platforms change their APIs, limits, and review requirements, and may reject, delay, remove, or restrict content for their own reasons. mysoku is not responsible for a platform's decisions, outages, or changes, and a platform's terms control where they conflict with ours for content on that platform.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the text, images, videos, and other content you submit to mysoku. You grant mysoku a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transcode, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the Service, including delivering it to the platforms you choose. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already delivered to a platform or kept in routine backups for a limited time.

You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the rights needed to publish it, that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that it complies with the law and with each platform's rules.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Publish content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that violates a platform's community guidelines.
  • Send spam, run engagement manipulation, or publish at volumes or in patterns designed to evade a platform's limits or policies.
  • Connect accounts you do not own or are not authorized to manage, or impersonate another person or organization.
  • Probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the Service, bypass rate limits or access controls, or reverse engineer non-public parts of it.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service, or use the API, MCP server, or CLI beyond the limits of your plan.

We may remove content, pause publishing, or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we may do so without notice where the violation creates risk for other users, the platforms, or mysoku.

6. Publishing, scheduling, and automations

  • mysoku attempts to publish at the time you schedule, but delivery depends on the platform. We do not guarantee that a post will publish at an exact time or at all, and we show you the status of each publication.
  • Automations (routes) run unattended using the settings you chose, including the privacy level of reposted content. You are responsible for reviewing those settings and for the content they repost.
  • If a connected account needs reauthorization, or a platform suspends access, affected posts and automations pause until you reconnect.
  • We may pause publishing to a platform while its API is unavailable or while we are completing that platform's review process.

7. Plans, billing, and credits

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout, through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and exclude taxes we are required to collect.
  • Some features consume credits. Credits included with a plan reset each billing cycle; purchased credits are consumed after included credits and do not expire while your account is active. Credits are not redeemable for cash.
  • Plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel from the billing settings at any time; cancellation stops future charges and the plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
  • Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires or we agree in writing. Founders pricing is honored for as long as the subscription stays active.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

8. API, MCP server, and CLI

Your plan may include programmatic access through API keys, the mysoku MCP server, and the CLI. Keys and tokens are confidential: keep them secret, rotate them if exposed, and do not embed them in client-side code. Usage is subject to the rate limits and quotas of your plan. Anything done with your keys is treated as done by you.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

The Service, including its software, design, documentation, and the mysoku name and marks, belongs to mysoku and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. Our License page explains what you may do with public materials. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, including data from Google and the other platforms you connect. It is part of these terms.

11. Termination

  • You may stop using mysoku and delete your account at any time by emailing us from the address on your account. Deleting your account disconnects all connected accounts and deletes stored platform tokens immediately.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law or a platform, if your account is unpaid, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will give reasonable notice where practical.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive (your content license for delivered copies, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, mysoku disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any post will be accepted or kept by a platform.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, mysoku and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and 100 US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify mysoku against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your connected accounts, or your breach of these terms or a platform's terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which mysoku is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at hello@mysoku.io and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your home country.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
